Death had come to Eden man was damned by sin
The blood stream that had given life
Now is poisoned from within
Pure blood could bring atonement from deity to man
But who would give his life's blood
To bring salvations plan

God now searched through Heaven to find a sacrifice
Who would give his blood as ransom and pay redemption's price
Then He found His son could pay the debt you see
So He sent Him to a sin cursed world to die upon a tree

But this Blood which flowed as ransom still saves from sin today
